For more than a week Trosten drove me through the North of Scotland. From a nice distillery to beautifull nature to great interesting stories about the Scottish history. Slept really good in his house with a nice fireplace and a good glas of whiskey. Great hospitality, great guy, great holiday........thx Torsten

Torsten is not only one of the most friendly people i have had the pleasure of meeting, he is also the best tour guide i could imagine. He knows so many beautiful secret areas and can make a tour to suit your wishes. If you stay at his lovely home, he will take great care of you and you have the possibility of staying in his lovely tipi. If you plan on visiting the north east of Scotland, be sure to pay Torsten a visit!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Torsten and his abode. He was an incredibly welcoming host, and we so enjoyed the couple nights we spent in Moray. If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate to visit him and take his tour. He was so friendly in helpful in every way. Thanks, Torsten!

I had a wonderful trip with Torsten on the peninsula of Knoydart which is only reachable by foot and boat. Torsten took us on this very wonderful trip which first takes you along the coast and then further inland. The landscape is so beautiful and peaceful. People once settled in that very remote part of Scotland, so one still stumbles over old abandoned, run down houses here and there. After a couple of days of hiking one finally reaches the little village where there is a ferry access back to civilization, but before one leaves this place one has to watch the stunning sunset and enjoy beer and fries at the local pub.
Torsten was a great tour guide with lots of stories to tell and other neat places to show in Scotland, places that you would never see get to see without him such as the incredible little "Hobbit" house which remains up to this day one of the neatest houses I have come across. Thank you Torsten for such a lovely trip!

Torsten took great care of us when we visited Scotland a few years ago. He definitely knows the most interesting and beautiful spots in his region, as well as the coolest pubs. He made us feel totally at home at his place, and was even kind enough to give a couple of clueless Americans driving lessons. If you're planning a trip to Northern Scotland, don't miss out on meeting Torsten. A knowledgeable guide and a truly stellar human being!

Torsten has shown me around Inverness and the surrounding areas on multiple occasions now. I usually come to Scotland once a year, and Torsten is always a great part of this trip. He not only knows the surrounding areas intimately, his unique perspectives, humor and charm really help it turn into an adventure. I couldn't recommend him enough, plus his property that he can house guests is amazing! Definitely stay with him in his teepee if you get the chance.

I invited a good friend of mine up to the local area and wanted to show him something different so decided to give Torsten a call! He was a very friendly guy who was incredibly flexible when it came to the tour alongside many interesting stories. We started off seeing the Moray Coastline and then going to see some Ospreys in Spey Bay. Unfortunately due to extreme unexpected snow the center was closed so we headed down to Glenfiddich Distillery where we learned how the famous Whisky was made. All in all a incredibly enjoyable tour with many sights and laughs to have! The great thing was we were just going with the flow the way along which was brilliant! Thanks Torsten!

We experienced some amazing places we never would have found without Torsten. He adapted his tour to suit or needs and we went at our own pace. He's super friendly and has some good stories to tell. We look forward to experiencing some new places with him in the future.

This was my second time staying at Torsten's in the Tipi set up in his back garden. Torsten is a gracious and generous host. He has taken me touring through the country to places and private homes that I would otherwise NEVER have seen and the experience was amazing. Everything was tailored to my own personal needs, all I had to do was let Torsten know what those were. If you are coming to Scotland and are looking for some individual attention at affordable prices definitely use Torsten's services; the only limits are your imagination and your pocketbook.
