My husband and I stayed here for one night in June 2017. Pros: fun rustic setting, good value, friendly host. Indoor bathroom with good shower, towels provided. Cons: no wi fi. Make sure that your gear is on the part of the platform under the rain fly because rain can come in through the closed smoke hole. Bottom line: good value place to spend a night.

nice place,friendly host,Trosten is a very decent person and his place is just the cradle of tranquil. Wish could stay longer 
Dear Torsten, we really enjoyed that short stay in your Tipi and it was such a great experience. The only downside was that we were tired to use the very fireplace!!
(( overall it was a very nice,good meeting, thank you for the nice chat,the coffees and teas and for the good atmosphere. wish could stay longer there to enjoy more the vibe that comes from staying in the Tipi and its surrounding peacefulness! Many thanks for the recommendation to see the biggest standing stone in Scotland

It was a great adventure to learn about living in a tipi. And what a joy to toast my toes in front of an open fire at night after having been shown the ropes, or let's say "shown the flaps". Torsten was a good host, very helpful and open for a chat, but at the same time giving all the space for me to enjoy my solitude. He gave me a great tip for a beach walk I could not have discovered on my own. All in all, a different and enjoyable experience.

Torsten's place was epic. The tipi was one of the coolest forms of accommodation myself and my 5 friends had ever seen. Unfortunately due to Scotland deciding to be true to its Scottish weather we were not able to spend the night in the tipi. There had been torrential rain for over a day which was not letting up so the canvas was beginning to leak making it an unwise decision for us to stay. Torsten was completely understanding and advised us on good places to stay locally and mad enough sure I was issued a full refund from Airbnb. We will absolutely be back to stay when we return from Australia next time as it really is a one of a kind experience with a fabulous host.

I visited this place with my 3 friends. This place is amazing. We had enjoyed a lot. I cant describe the beauty of this place but this is most memorable place I visited. Torsten is very nice and helped a lot and cared our all needs.

Torsten was just a wonderful tour guide. His English was excellent and easy to understand. He met us on time at the agreed to location. His enthusiasm for his country and the places we visited added to the adventure. He also supplied us with refreshments which made the day even more enjoyable! Considering the itinerary we gave him, he met the challenge wonderfully and we arrived at our destinations at the time required. Thank you Torsten for a great tour! Craig and Cheri

Torsten was just the perfect guide for us. Totally relaxing. He showed us the most beautiful places. We booked Torsten for two days. He knows the country in and out. It was not a classic "in-and-out-of-the-van"-tour, but really a personal trip through the most amazing landscapes. Definitely gonna come back, not only to see more beautiful places, but also to catch up with Torsten because he is an amazing dude, a good person!!

This tour was amazing. Torsten was full of interesting information from the Loch Ness monster all the way up and around the isle of skye. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour and especially recommend the tour guide, Torsten.
