This is an absolutely lovely place! Torsten's little amusement park is a mixture of Hippi and Scotland. At night, sitting at his calm and cozy garden, I could see thousands of, millions of shining stars in the sky. Apart from the Tipi, Torsten's gorgeous house entirely reflects his great personality and makes me feel relaxed. Speyside is such an attractive and cool place to be, but I must say that Torsten's may be hidden treasure of Speyside and another touristic attraction. Besides, Torsten, the amazing host, is always willing to help you find out funs not just in Elgin and Speyside area, but in all over the Scotland. The best tour guy in Scotland and his open-minded personality will definitely give you unforgettable memory. I strongly recommend people whom will be guests of this lovely Tipi to not to miss a chance of rubbing shoulders with Torsten (and his crazy friends, if you have a chance)! Cheers

Torsten is absolutely awesome. He is very down to earth and cool. He was very welcoming and accommodating. His knowledge of the area and connections around Scotland make him a great resource for anyone looking to explore. The tipi was comfortable and surprisingly warm (even without a fire). We were lucky enough to catch a clear night and the sky full of stars of was incredible. Definitely recommend staying here. It is a unique experience that won't ever be forgotten. Thanks!!!!!

Aloha, Thorsten is a absolutely fantastic host and even more so are his experiences as a Tour Guide for this Region. I have had a wonderful time. And we went Kayaking on the Findhorn river that was simply amazing. Everything clean and cosy. Friendly and Trustworthy I can only recommend this you'll be well hosted.

Sleeping at the tipi was a unique experience (despite the rain), especially for the kids. Torsten proved to be a fantastic host, sharing with us his bathroom, kitchen and dining room, making a memorable stay among ste green fields of northeastern Scotland

We had a wonderful tour with Torsten and saw sights we would not have found on our own. He was very kind and knew the area well. Overall a wonderful day and a very special part of our trip to Scotland.

Nous étions 7 et nous sommes arrivés à 20H15. La maison et le tipi sont au milieu des champs, l'idéal pour se ressourcer en tout tranquillité. Cependant nous avons trouvé très facilement grâce au plan imprimé sur le site. Nous n'avions rien prévu pour manger mais Torsten nous a accompagné au village à coté pour nous indiquer ou se restaurer ( sinon impossible de manger après 21H). Nous sommes revenu à 23H00 et Torsten nous attendait toujours. Il a passé la soirée avec nous jusqu'à 2H00 pour nous expliquer ce qu'il fallait voir aux alentours et nous sommes passé à des endroits magnifique loin des foules de touristes. Ce fut la meilleure soirée que j' ai passé lors de notre séjour de 7 jours en Écosse. Torsten est un hôte formidable disponible, agréable et très sociable. Un endroit ou je retournerais dés que possible car nous avons été reçus en ami. Merci beaucoup Torsten ne change rien, sauf les nouveaux aménagements prévus. A bientôt.

A very unusual night, we are not use to sleep in a tipi! Thanks to the fire, the night was warm and the bed was comfortable. Good advices for restaurant and place to see, we even saw seals. No electricity in the tipi but we can use the facility or his house.

My friend Laurence and I, as well as our two teenagers, were very well welcomed at Torsten's. Sleeping in the tipy was a great experience and Torsten is an amazing person. We appreciated a lot he spent time chating with us and giving us tips for our trip. We would definitely go on a tour with him next time. We highly recommend him !

The instant I saw this listing online I knew I had to book. Torsten and the Tipi did not let me down. In fact, it was better than I could have imagined. I was able to get enough rest and quite time to read an entire book but also enough excitement in the area to enjoy a beautiful 20 mile bike ride along the coast. It was a truly magical experience and Torsten was the best host and person to hang out with. I recommend the Tipi to anyone looking for a good place and good people.
