This was an amazing stay. I booked the teepee because I needed time out, away from noise, electronics and city/town lifestyle. It delivered perfectly! I'm a solo female traveller and it was exactly what I wanted. I think this set up would be awesome for a family with young kids; or a group of friends who just want to chill. The hot tub has had its finishing touches added and looks amazing. It's not 5 star accom, but the experience certainly is. Torsten is a wonderful host. He felt like a friend by the time I left.

Torsten has built an amazing tipi & outdoor area. The tipi is great could be noisy in high winds but great comfortable bed & very cozy. The outdoor bath was lovely & very novel. Torsten could not do anymore to help and was very welcoming to his home.

If you see a teepee in Scotland on air b n b, and aren’t instantly intrigued, I have nothing more to say to you. However, if you see Torsten’s teepee and wonder what all is possible in Scotland, then look no further! The teepee attracts wonderful people with a special tract in life, and Torsten is another one of those special special people. When we arrived at the teepee Torsten helped up plan the remainder of our trip to Scotland - he is an absolute wealth of information as he works as a tour guide on the side - and after noticing that I was seeking a thrill he offered to take us into town to meet some of his local friends, and I need not say anymore except that Torsten and his friends could not have possibly been anymore welcoming and open to two American travelers. Torsten will pick you up from the airport, drop you at the pub, or take you sightseeing all across Scotland. If the teepee sparks your fancy, and you are the type on a special tract of life, BOOKIT.

Torsten was a very friendly host and offered fantastic suggestions. We would have never seen the remarkable landscape we did if we hadn’t met him.

Torsten was a wonderful host, accommodating us with just a days notice. He is immensely knowledgeable about the area and shares ideas for sightseeing openly & thoughtfully. He provided detailed guidance for how to use the teepee. We arrived late, but Torsten took the time to be sure we were comfortable. We also had an enjoyable conversation, and thank Torsten for sharing some of his personal time talking with us well into the evening.

The tipi was beautiful, just looking at it was thrilling to me. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious during my stay -Storm Ali - the fire could not be lit when it was raining and it rained ! I remained reasonably dry throughout. Torsten was very concerned about my comfort and did everything he could to make my stay comfortable. The hot tub wasn’t available during my stay.

Everybody needs to stay here! The tipi is an awesome experience. Along with Torsten being an amazing host and friend!
